И конкретно такого плана коники мне видятся, ну, в каком-то смысле консервативными — ну, то есть, живут они в таких домах-конюшнях, имеют какие-то большие открытые площадки, чтоб было где порезвиться-разогнаться вот таким вот мелким, большие комнаты и делают себе такие около-фентезийные прически, носят что-то более традиционное.<\/p>\n
И есть у меня мои, яояо-тавры (за неимением термина лучше) — вот такой вот один в комнате у своего друга-конетавра, играют во что-то электронное и беспроводное.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\nПринципиальная разница вот в чем: яояо-тавры, в отличие от классических конетавров — у них нижний торс и ноги суть копия верхнего, слегка, может быть, длиннее; у них обычные ноги и спереди, и сзади, но на передних ступнях есть еще и дополнительный большой палец для пущей удобности. Яояо-тавры, в отличие от конетавров, носят вполне обычную одежду, носят штаны на задней паре ног, носят либо обычные, либо вытянутые футболки\/рубашки\/майки на оба торса. Могут вполне носить обычную обувь даже — на задних ногах; правда, думается мне, что все-таки обувь — это больше украшение у них у всех, нежели необходимость.
\nЯояо-тавры в каком-то смысле лучше приспособлены к жизни (ну, это так — у меня реализЬма не ищите, я все по фану делаю и придумываю) среди обычных яояо — ну, то есть, они вполне могут использовать те же удобства (туалет, например), ту же одежду — те же конетавры больше ограничеы в этом плане; но, конечно, ничто не исключает ее существование, как и не предполагает ее полную необходимость.<\/p>\n
И вот еще какая задумка — тавры с «таймером».<\/p>\n
Они рождаются вполне «обычными»: паренек слева сдвоенноногий, вот.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\nГде-то в роду у него были тавры (ну вот дядя у него тавр, например — я обязательно нарисую потом), а потом вот — раз! — утром в выходной встает и у него новая пара ног прям под руками. Постепенно верхний торс вырастет и вытянется, а на ступнях вырастет дополнительный палец и будет он как обычный тавр.<\/p>\n

Well, been into taurs lately again, so decided to summarize and write some thoughts down before I forget them.<\/p>\n
So, I have pretty regular centaurs (fig. 1). Pretty happy little horse dude. And I see them, well, as being rather conservative — so they live in like... houses-stables, they have large open spaces (for kiddos) to walk and run around; they make their hair look like something from a fantasy book, wear more classic clothes and so on.<\/p>\n
And there’re yaoyao-taurs — for the lack of better term — here’s one, sitting next to his friend, they’re enjoying some game on their wireless electronic devices (fig. 2).
\nUnlike centaurs, yaoyao-taurs’ lower torsos are practically copies of their upper torsos, maybe a bit longer; they have regular legs and feet — well, front feet have additional thumbs for better gripping. They can use regular clothes, they wear pants, they wear shoes — although I do think that in my setting shoes are more of a unnecessary thing, errrr more like decoration thing; in some sense they’re adapted better to regular two-legged surroundings since they can use the same things (toilets for instance).<\/p>\n
And here’s another thought — taurs on a «timer».<\/p>\n
They’re born like usual yaoyaos — like this splitlegged fella on the left (fig. 3).
\nAnd then one day he wakes up to a new set of legs right under his arms. This fella has taurs amongst his ancestors (for example, his uncle is one — definitely gonna draw that!), which is a bit of a surprise to his parents.
\nOver the years their upper torso grow and lengthen, their front feet grow thumbs and they become your regular taurs. (fig. 4)<\/p>\n

\nДавненько у меня идея варится про зипта (в данном случае толстый) и запта (худой как спичка, высокий и лопоухий), которые друг другу братья и держат они свой сервис по ремонту электроники.
\nНу, на самом деле, я думал сначала, что контраст между гигантским заптом и маленьким зиптом — само по себе забавно и думал их тоже сделать школьниками, но потом что-то я решил, что пока что подростков у меня достаточно и фокус сместился в сторону возраста побольше, но не сильно — в районе, скажем, 20-24 лет; все еще младше среднестатистических родителей, но уже и не совсем дети. Да и логичнее, что сервис будут держать повзрослее ребята. Но добраться как-то до чуть более тщательного продумывания все никак руки не доходили.
\nСегодня настроение было на набросок ботана еще раз, потом ради интереса рядом посадил ботана-запта и вдруг осенило, что, по-моему, это вполне подходящее решение задачи. Разве что показалось, что больно они уж ботанские ботаны получились, но, посовещавшись с парочкой друзей, решил, что так нормально (да и по-честному откровенно таких ботанов у меня в Зьюк-вселенной и нет).<\/p>\n
Основные мысли об этих товарищах пока такие:<\/p>\n
- \n
- помещение под сервис у них должно быть что-то в духе закутка, но при этом закуток гигантский, чтобы уместить запта (об этом уточню позднее) и, собственно, технику для заптов (об этом тоже уточню позднее в отдельном посте о зиптах и заптах как о виде и в чуть более причесанном варианте в зьюк-педии);<\/li>\n
- оба ботана разделяют огромное количество интересов, однако в техническом плане больше подкован брат-зипт, запт же больше гуманитарий — как минимум в силу того, что запты в целом более «чувствительные» товарищи;<\/li>\n
- так как они ботаны, они в целом довольно рассеянные; из них двоих за внешним видом больше следит, опять же, запт — далеко не грязнюли, конечно, но и не особо чистюли — впрочем, думаю, что для контрасту можно второго сделать в этом отношении более педантичным. я еще думаю;<\/li>\n
- из вышестоящего пункта добавлю, что брат-запт чаще остается своих реальных размеров, так как либо забывает свой браслет для уменьшения, либо он у него лежит в ремонте и добраться до него попросту забывает, хотя вопрос с девайсом для изменения своих физических размеров я позднее уточню. возможно, эффект будет перманентный, но функционировать он будет на чьем-то запястье.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Idea of two brothers, zipt (the fat one) and zapt (tall and thin), running a repair service, has been brewing in my head for quite a while now. Well, to be frank, initially I just thought it’d be funny to have a gigantic zapt and a small zipt brothers — I mean, it’s a pretty fun contrast, right, and I thought of them as of two teens, but after some time I’ve decided I already have a ton of teen characters (and a couple more in the brewing process right now) and focus shifted more towards young adults (and as of now it’s just a couple of adult characters, including Rox and Xor’s mom and endless Hukkis); so they’re in their 20s — younger than most of the parents out there and not really teens too. Plus it’s more logical to have adults running a repair service, right? But I didn’t have enough time and mood to think a bit more on them.
\nToday had the mood to doodle the dork zipt again and then I just put a dork zapt and it struck me that it suits the idea, although at first I thought to tone the «dorkness» down a little, but discussed it with my friends and they said it’s fine, so leaving them as is for now (and well tbh I don’t have like dorky<\/b> geeks in my Zwhhverse lore rn).<\/p>\nA couple of theses regarding the two:<\/p>\n
- \n
- their repair service is a rather typical mess and located somewhere in a nook\/recessed area, yet it’s big enough to fit zapt and the tech, designed for zapts (more on differences and overall details on zipt\/zapt species coming soon here and in Zwhhpedia once I brush em up) — as for my personal vision of a typical repair service place, it comes from my local, Russian stereotypes, it’s based on repair services I’ve seen myself;<\/li>\n
- both share most of their interests, yet in zipt-bro has more technical knowledge, zapt-bro is more of a sensitive kind;<\/li>\n
- since they’re dorks, they’re pretty distracted from everyhting else, except their own interests, although I do think that zapt-bro is less of a dork, so he’s the one keeping place tidy and, well, himself — not that both are as dirty as hogs, but, well, you get the idea;<\/li>\n
- coming from the aforementioned point, zapt-bro stays mostly normal-sized — for zapt standards, I mean, or just gigantic — due to him either forgetting the special size controlling bracelet or breaking it and just forgetting to fix it, although I might think more on that part, so it could be that effect is permanent until changed again — I’m yet to figure that out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
That’s all so far, yet to come up with their names and better ref and stuff.<\/p>\n
